Really contemplating 'Silver' for DC3, not sure of spelling - Silver, Sylva or Silva?

Is it pretty and unusual or just weird and therefore setting DD up for lifetime of teasing/judgement?

I know a boy called Silver, cute for a child, not sure if it works for an adult, prefer Sylvie or Sylvia for a girl.

Silvana is a Spanish name. Or use Sylvie / Sylvia.

Silver would make me want to say "High-ho Silver!" but that is a pretty old reference!

Silver on its own might be a bit limiting for a person. In any case the cre8tiv spellings are just dreadful.

If you like it, use it! I would probably spell it Silver as that's what everybody will assume when you say it.

It isn't my favourite but it is a pretty word and I have no idea why anyone would tease or judge her about it?

Just use it, at spelt silver or Silva. Welsh has plenty of names for colours, and if you're a welsh speaker, you are just calling the child a colour, so it's all good
