Western names that would work for Muslim Child.

My sister is married to a Muslim and they're expecting their 3rd child, no idea of the gender yet, so need names for both genders.

However my sister prefers western names to Arabic/Asian names. Her two boys are called Adam and Harris, both Muslim names that work well here in England.

But for the 3rd child she's hit a brick wall, she hates the obvious western Muslim names like Aiden/Daniyal/Sofia/Aliyah/Noah etc so at this rate the poor kid isn't going to have a name.

So can you please give me some unique western sounding Muslim names that would work in both cultures. My sister's all time favourite name is Finley but there doesn't seem to be a Muslim equivalent, believe me she's checked

Hannah/hanna is a name that has served a friend well. Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Hindu (Hana anyway) and pronounceable in most languages/accents.

You can also look at Muslim names with English nicknames.. Bilal could be known as Billy.. I think Moe is cute for Mohammed.
Dani is another popular one in the middle east.

Are we talking only Arabic versions of names or is there another ethnicity/language in the mix that might give more ideas e.g. a language from the Indian subcontinent?

From the fact she has an Adam it sounds like English versions of what would be Old Testament names for Christians would be OK. My thoughts on those that you don't have already would be Solomon, David, Ruth, Rachel (those would be the English spellings/pronunciations - Daud, Suleyman, Rahma, Rashil - had to look the last two up!)
