I love Edward Alexander too - it's seems to flow better, though both are lovely! Congratulations flowers

Edward Akexander sounds better even though I prefer James as a name in its own right!

I like both, but prefer James.

Just to be different, Edward James was our choice if we'd had a boy (names of granddads on each side), so that's my decision.

Both lovely though.

What does your surname start with and how many syllables does it have?

I think Edward James flows beautifully!

Edward James.

I think Edward Alexander sounds awkward.

Thank you all! Our surname is 3 syllables, of Russian origin, something like Sokolov. Still undecided sad

With a long surname I'd go for James (although I might be biased as it's ds1's middle name).

What about Edward James Alexander?

With a long surname I'd go for James

Yes, this.

Edward James __- __- ov has a good rhythm.
