Does anyone like Bruno?

MrsLeighHalfpenny Thu 19-Nov-15 20:28:01

If you're Italian, yes.
If you're British, no.

Are you changing your baby's name?

FrostyRose Fri 20-Nov-15 13:52:04

No, I love Archie very much and I couldn't picture him being anything else smile DH loved Bruno, but no idea why and just seeing what people thought because he came home and goes "awh I really loved the name Bruno!" hmm but no, he's staying as Archie!

7yo dd was going to be a Bruno if she was a boy. So I had to name my Nintendog Bruno instead.

Love Bruno! Cool, classic and not overused!

No need to be Italian to use such a cool name imo. In fact, I know a German and an English Bruno.

I really like Bruno. Personally prefer it to Archie.

FrostyRose Fri 20-Nov-15 15:06:56

It is growing on me, but he's staying as Archie smile

MamaLazarou Fri 20-Nov-15 16:56:05

I love Bruno.

MitzyLeFrouf Fri 20-Nov-15 16:57:31

I do too. It's one of my faves.

Indole Fri 20-Nov-15 17:07:38

Bruno is a gorgeous name. But Archie is nice, too.

VeryPunny Fri 20-Nov-15 17:43:08

Great name - I know 2 here.

Nataleejah Sat 21-Nov-15 12:29:36

Sorry. Associations with an exceptionally stupid film

Boleh Sat 21-Nov-15 12:34:02

I know two young Bruno's, it works in various languages which is handy, Polish, Dutch and English in these cases.

hobitty Wed 25-Nov-15 15:17:31

Surely, any associations people may have with a film will instantly vanish once they meet a real life Bruno. It's a great name that imo.

IoraRua Wed 25-Nov-15 16:09:46

I think it's gorgeous.
