Of course, I said, 'Oh how lovely' and smiled a whole lot, but inside I died a little.

A friend is pregnant. She's having a little boy. Going to call him Henri. But they aren't French and it will be pronounced as Henry.

Whyyyy do they need to change a perfectly good name and letter for something that seems a little silly and chavvy?

I've heard far worse and it is her baby to name.

The world would be a boring place if we all had the same tastes Smile

If she wants to be different then I'd spell it Henrie. If I saw Henri written down I'd say it the French way

My son's friend is called Henri pronounced Henry it doesn't seem to cause him any problems. It would be boring if we were all the same.
