Am due in less than a month and still no closer to a decision on girls names, boys are sorted thank goodness. DS is Samuel.

Alexis
Abigail
Victoria
Megan

My favourite atm is Victoria and DH is Megan, I am also open to suggestions. Middle names would be Lillian Jayne (or the other way round)

Thank you!

They are all lovely. I like Victoria and Megan best too.

Megan is quite popular just now though.

Megan is my favourite, closely followed by Victoria. Not keen on Abigail or Alexis though I like Abby and Alexa, so that's probably not very helpful Smile

I like Alexis followed by Megan. Abigail and Victoria are both a bit boring and dated IMO. So many Vicky's and Abby's around from my generation. Having said that Victoria is a classic so if you really love it then it's not one that can go far wrong.

Abigail is nice. I used to like Victoria years ago, but it does seem a little dated now.

I like them all except Alexis.

Victoria is lovely but Vicky a bit hard to avoid! Although I recently heard Vita as a nickname which I thought was fab.

Victoria Lillian Jayne. Abigail is nice too, not so keen on Alexis and Megan.

I like Victoria and I quite like Alexis but love Alexia.

For me it would be between Megan or Victoria
Certainly not Alexis. It's awful. Very harsh sounding. And not at all girly. Now I fully appreciate that not everyone likes girly names but you still get names that don't cujure up all frills and bows without being harsh at the same time snd Alexis is not one of them, but your baby your choice
Abigail is okay but a bit meh.

I'm not keen on Alexis but Abigail, Victoria & Megan all great names

IMO Victoria or Abigail goes better with your middle names than Megan

Alexis is horrible. I'd opt for Abigail, Megan, then Victoria. In that order

FattyNinjaOwl · 04/11/2015 23:48

I love Alexis. It would have been DS1s name had he been a girl.

DeepBlueLake · 05/11/2015 04:19

Thanks for your replies! Seems Megan is in the lead, so it's probably between Megan and Victoria.

I hear what people are saying about Victoria being dated as I knew heaps when I was at secondary school in the 90s.

Abigail was my favourite when I was pregnant with DS but am not liking it as much as I use to.

Ooh Alexia is nice, I might swap that for Alexis!
