Where's this from? Not funny enough to be an actual spoof, not realistic enough to be recognisable as an an actual trends prediction.

Eden's predominantly a boys name in UK (always was, until that 1980s US daytime soap) so really can't see it breaking through unisex to girls top 10 in only a year.

And I've never come across an Emi (as the actual name), nor a Queenie (if this was going to be big, surely in Jubilee year, not now?)

BondJayneBond Wed 28-Oct-15 08:45:34

Yeah, I'd be surprised if all of those names even made it into the top 100 names in the UK next year, never mind the top 20.

Is it American baby centre?

MrsBalustradeLanyard Wed 28-Oct-15 13:36:33

Hector? Who would do that to a beautiful wee baby?

LOVE Kit though. grin

Lunastarfish Wed 28-Oct-15 17:14:11

Hector is fine as long as it's the Spanish pronciation 'ec-torr'!

MrsBalustradeLanyard Wed 28-Oct-15 22:10:56

If you're Spanish!

CelestiaLuna Wed 28-Oct-15 22:55:49

Thought Hector was the nicest out of the boys list. Can see it becoming more popular as an alternative to the extremely popular Henry

m0therofdragons Wed 28-Oct-15 22:58:45

Only ever met girls called Eden. Also Devon is a girl's name to me too as I only know girls called it. Can't imagine such a dramatic change in name choices but would be nice if the list had a bit of a sudden change.

Queenbean Wed 28-Oct-15 23:01:08

I know boys called Devon

Kit is my favourite name ever and I will cry if it becomes too popular

scatterthenuns Wed 28-Oct-15 23:05:47

DH is Kit. Makes me so happy to see it becoming popular. His name was one of the things I liked when we first got together - I think it is sexy.

AwfulBeryl Wed 28-Oct-15 23:08:02

I love Astrid and Otto...and Beryl obviously.

welliesandleaves Thu 29-Oct-15 13:57:14

AwfulBeryl Thu 29-Oct-15 15:08:08

Yes, Beryl. It's a beautiful name...what of it ...? [glares]

Vixxfacee Thu 29-Oct-15 15:10:24

Beryl is up there with bertha and ethel

scatterthenuns Thu 29-Oct-15 15:56:45

I really like Beryl.

WhyCantIuseTheNameIWant Thu 29-Oct-15 16:14:19

Beryl is a type of semi-precious gemstone?

AwfulBeryl Thu 29-Oct-15 16:35:34

Apparently so Why.

AnotherEmma Thu 29-Oct-15 17:01:21

I like Kit, is it short for anything?

BondJayneBond Thu 29-Oct-15 17:34:11

Kit is short for Christopher. Not sure if it's short for anything else.

AnotherEmma Thu 29-Oct-15 18:06:36

Thanks Bond

HopefulAnxiety Fri 30-Oct-15 01:17:32

Emeralds and aquamarines are both types of beryl <nerd>

MrsBalustradeLanyard Fri 30-Oct-15 09:39:57

I totally love Kit but we have a Kate...would sound stupid shouting those names in the park!
