The list so far:
Hazel
Iris
Violet
Fern
To go with sister Ivy.

Any suggestions?

Apologies for the brevity. Typing in between vomiting and watching Strictly.

Rose is very now and I actually like it for an old fashioned name.

Rowan
Willow
Daphne (maybe a bit old-fashioned)
Jasmine
I have a Hazel and people have been overwhelmingly lovely about her name.

lozengeoflove Sat 24-Oct-15 19:16:05

No Daisy. One in the family.
No Heather - reminds DP of Eastenders Hev.
Primrose far too frilly.
Can't do Marigold - would sound like set of Downton Abbey.

Thank you for these suggestions grin

Myrtle is wonderful but Harry potter might have spoilt it. I hope not.

Azalea
Saffron

lozengeoflove Sat 24-Oct-15 19:23:13

Taught far too many Lilly/Lillies, same goes for Jasmine, Poppy and Holly. In fact have at least one of each in most classes this year.
Bryony is lovely but reminds me too much of Briony Tallis - not a character association I could live with.
Willow - too twee.

lozengeoflove Sat 24-Oct-15 19:24:19

Agreed Lettuce, shame.

Diddlydokey Sat 24-Oct-15 19:25:17

Myrtle

Tirfarthoin Sat 24-Oct-15 19:25:48

You couldn't really have holly and ivy anyway.

What about Oak, Ceder, Maple?

TattieHowkerz Sat 24-Oct-15 19:26:47

Laurel?

lozengeoflove Sat 24-Oct-15 19:27:54

Yes Tirfarthoin, as much as I love Christmas I don't think I'd want it all year round...

Tirfarthoin Sat 24-Oct-15 19:30:05

You could branch out and go for Berry or Petal?

Iliveinalighthousewiththeghost Sat 24-Oct-15 19:30:17

Lavender
Fern
Meadow (okay not s plant exactly)
Oak
Willow
