Please help! We just can't decide. What do people prefer? We'd probably use Cordy day to day for Cordelia.

I really like Cordy/ Cordelia, Robyn not so much.

Straight away two different preferences! Sorry OP!

I'd probably go for Robyn and Cordelia is a tad frilly. Cordy is very cute though as a nickname.

I love the name Robyn - it's gorgeous.

Robyn

Robyn is awful. That particular spelling, a horrid attempt at feminising (just use Robin!)

Cordelia is better, though I prefer Delia, Dilly or Cora for nick names

Interesting so far. Thanks! I really dislike Delia, Dilly and Cora as nicknames - it's one of the things that's putting me off Cordelia.

Cordy is a bit odd too, sounds like Gordy.

So we've established that whatever we choose reuset isn't keen!!

Cassia or Cecilia as alternatives to Cordelia?

Report
LemonBreeland · 21/10/2015 15:01

Cordelia. I'm not keen on unisex names, I feel they never sound right for either sex.

Not so. Grin I like Cordelia, but not Cordy. I don't mind, I suppose, Robin, but dislike your chosen spelling.

Robyn. Lovely name

AmysTiara · 21/10/2015 15:24

Robyn with that spelling

Love both names! I love Cordelia but honestly I'd probably go for the "safer" option of Robyn...

Indole · 21/10/2015 15:33

Definitely Cordelia.

Report
Floralnomad · 21/10/2015 15:42

I think they are both lovely but I don't like Cordy as a nn .

Report
Sophronia · 21/10/2015 15:44

Definitely Cordelia. Robyn feels very masculine to me, and a bit dated to the 80s.

Robyn by a million miles.
