Jesse
(14 Posts)What do people think of Jesse for our baby boys name? It's quite unusual and I'm not sure if it could lead to getting picked on as a child, but my husbands granddad was called it, I never hear of it anymore other than in America.
Personally, I love it.
I love it and if hell froze over and we had another dc it'd be his name for sure.
I love it.
I love it. Ronnie woods' son is called Jesse, if that interests you!
I don't like it for a boy.
Too many girl Jessies around for it to sound masculine for me.
I love it and it was top of my list but my husband strongly vetoed it. He thought it would lead to bullying.
I have a 17 yo Jesse - still love it
and it's funny because I just don't 'hear' it as a girl's name.
and he's never been bullied...
and Bob Dylan's son is also called Jesse
Love it. DH wouldn't entertain it but I would in a heartbeat.
There are several popular American actors called Jesse now, and I doubt that any babies called Jesse will find the name a problem in a few years.
I love it.
It's the name of my next child. (That will never ever be born!)
It's my great grandad's name and my baby's middle name. I kind of wish we'd been brave enough to use it as a first name!
