DS is due in two weeks and I keep changing my mind about names, hormones are definitely not helping.
Griffin - DHs favourite, I'm not sure if it sounds a bit harsh? But love how unique it is.
Milo I adore but is it too cliche?

Hellionandfriends Sun 09-Aug-15 03:56:18

I adore griffin. Milo is equally as nice. Less keen on roman

Hellionandfriends Sun 09-Aug-15 03:57:52

Don't announce his name at birth. Only announce it at 6 weeks once registered. In the meantime try out all three names on baby

Thanks! Am quite keen to name him when he is born as have DD already and want to be able to introduce her to him with a name.

Hellionandfriends Sun 09-Aug-15 07:15:32

If unsure, wait because back treading once announced isn't easy. Griffin is my favourite

HighOverTheFenceLeapsSunnyJim Sun 09-Aug-15 07:21:17

How old is DD? My DC have always seemed to take a nameless baby in their stride & we pick a name around 1 week.

I like griffin best and Roman least.

Koalafications Sun 09-Aug-15 07:24:40

Not keen on Roman.

Griffin doesn't sound like a name.

Milo is lovely.

AltoPalo Sun 09-Aug-15 07:28:20

Love Griffin.
Milo OK but reminds me of Tweenies and it's a bit of a hipster name.
Roman is not a name I like at all.

StrawberryMojito Sun 09-Aug-15 07:29:11

Milo

NoArmaniNoPunani Sun 09-Aug-15 07:31:08

Griffin reminds me of Nick Griffin. I'd suggest one of the other two.

YeOldeTrout Sun 09-Aug-15 07:31:39

Roman is only one I can stand. They all scream dog to me.

SanityClause Sun 09-Aug-15 07:32:37

I like Milo, but as I'm Australian, to me it's a malty chocolaty drink.

Still, no different to using Flora (which is lovely) for a girl.

I don't really like your other two choices that much.

HeyDuggee Sun 09-Aug-15 07:32:57

Milo sounds like a nickname. What about Miles?

swimmerforlife Sun 09-Aug-15 07:50:59

Not keen on any of your choices but Griffin is okay.

Hellionandfriends Sun 09-Aug-15 08:02:32

Griff is not unheard of either

peacefuleasyfeeling Sun 09-Aug-15 08:38:22

Milo was on my list but decided not to as there are so many in our area.
Griffin is lovely.

WitchofScots Sun 09-Aug-15 08:43:51

Milo is a Tweenie so no. Roman is just odd IMO, I know two and one is a bully and the other is a weedy little thing. Griff(in) is lovely.

sweetpeame Sun 09-Aug-15 17:01:38

Griffin is awful, it sounds like the name of a gargoyle IMO. Not sure why but that's what springs to mind. Roman isn't my taste but I know a 2 year old one and it suits him. Milo is ok but a bit faddy/of the moment, they're popping up all over the place at the moment! There are 2 in DDs nursery and only one child (her!) with her top 10 name!!

CakeRattleandRoll Sun 09-Aug-15 17:09:28

My favourite is Griffin, but much prefer Griffith. Griff is great nn.

CrystalMcPistol Sun 09-Aug-15 18:53:23

Love Griffin/Griff!

toddlersareeasier Sun 09-Aug-15 18:56:24

They're awful.

Milo is the best one.

CrystalMcPistol Sun 09-Aug-15 18:56:54

Probably because gargoyles, dragons and griffins featured a lot in Gothic architecture sweetpea

woodleydoodle Sun 09-Aug-15 19:16:34

All awful, sorry

NoArmaniNoPunani Sun 09-Aug-15 19:18:19

And Nick Griffin looks like a gargoyle.

CrystalMcPistol Sun 09-Aug-15 19:21:33

If only they'd encase him in stone and stick him on top of a building!
