Help!
Our beautiful daughter is one week old today and is still nameless. We are between Eva Rose, and Anya Rose , already have a Sophie Isabelle and a Lucy Hannah, our surname is the same as a certain golden arches fast food restaurant. ..

Thoughts please , we are totally undecided Smile

Anya out of the two, have you considered Ayla, in my accent it rolls off the tongue easier Blush

Haha, adding my vote for Anya. Eva is lovely but very common at the moment. I've only ever met one Anya, she'd be about 18 now.

Thank you !

I accidentally posted 2 threads and on the other a poster suggested Anna, which was also on our original list , so I am going to throw that back in the mix. Wondering if it fits better with our other dc names, Sophie and Lucy.

So.... Anya Rose, Eva Rose, or Anna Rose ?

Sigh. Dh is getting bit fed up of me now, I really need to name this baby..

I could have bet the general consensus on MN would be Anya Grin. It's nice but personally I prefer Eva (cue the inevitable comments about the horror of there being 10 Eva's in every reception class). Eva is more popular I'm sure (although I know equal numbers of Evas and Anyas) but that may not bother you. Eva is just a nicer name IMO.

Your other daughters have popular (but very very lovely!) names, so maybe in terms of popularity Anna or Eva match more. Anya is not so unusual as to stick out though. You can't go wrong with any of them... I still vote Anya. Grin

With your other girls names I would say Anna is best and it's a really lovely name. I could also add Annie an an option!

Eva. To my ear it's far more beautiful. But I'm biased.

Ps a Sophie and an Eva is a lovely pairing of sisters - again biased -Wink
