Star girl names

I have two children Charlie and Tilly, and TTC baby number 3.
After two miscarriages in the last 7 months, I want to choose a name with a special meaning. I went to the GP, and she said the most beautiful and reassuring words; That there was a little star waiting for me to choose them to be my baby. So with these words I wanted the baby to mean star.
We are OK for boys names, but we struggle for girls names.
My name also means star so I thought this would also be a lovely connection
My and my husband like the name Seren.

Do you like it with my other children's names?
Does it matter if they don't go well together?

The only ones I can think of are Stella and Gaia, which both go with your other children's names I think.

Also in keeping with the celestial theme, I think Sunny would go well with your other dc's names. Or, I know of a little Spanish girl named Sol - although here people might think of the lager :) it's very pretty though IMO.

I used to know someone named Astra but you might be put off by the car association. Seren is lovely

Seren is lovely. It's a bit different from your other DC, but I really don't think that is an issue. The one thing all 3 names have in common is that you love them, and that is all that matters.

My parents called our DD "little star" when she was but a flickering pixel. We used Seren in her name. My mum cried.

Hester is a lovely name but it is not Greek for star. That would be something like 'asteri'.

Do not believe what you read on baby name websites.

Esther/Hester might just perhaps be Hebrew/Anglicised Hebrew versions of a Persian word for star, but on the other hand they might be versions of the name of the pagan goodess Ishtar.
