Baby girl name help please

So our first child is due in just over 6 weeks (excited!). We've found out were expecting a baby girl but can't find a name we both love. Were planning on making final decisions when she arrives but need a shortlist. It currently keeps changing so was wondering if you could help us.
We loved Isabelle but has now been vetoed as seems hugely popular at the moment.
We like Amelia (Millie), but again it does seem popular at the moment. Also like Imogen and Samantha.
Basically we don't want anything overly popular but don't want an 'odd' name either.
Joanna is creeping up the list.
Any help gratefully received x

Love Joanna. Or Johanna.
How about Catherine, Sarah, Zara, Alison, Marina, Abigail, Caroline, Louisa?

I love all Capoeirak's suggestions! How about Juliet, Emmeline, Elsie?

Imogen, Samantha and Joanna are all lovely. Joanna's my favourite.

How about:

Amelia and all forms of Isabel are hugely popular at the moment. Imogen less so but still quite high up.

Joanna is lovely, I know a 10 year old one and she's a real sweetheart, it's just a timeless classic. Samantha I personally don't like as much but it certainly isn't popular or odd!

Rivercam, Polyanna?

Samantha is a great idea. It's due a comeback I think, as it's quite unusual now. I don't know of any young Samanthas.

Not quite sure why I thought of Pollyanna either last night, but it fits op's criteria of unusual but not odd. As I wrote it down, I thought it was quite pretty.

Joanna is a lovely name and seems very underused these days.

I like this the best of all your choices.

Also agree with Rachel and Emma being good alternatives.

Sometimes a name imposes certain traits of character or even defines a destiny. So, the history and the meaning of the name should also be considered.

Yes, Imogen, Amelia and Isobelle are all very popular.

Samantha not so (but she will definitely be called Sam when older!)

Joanna is lovely! Far too underused in my opinion!

Jenifer (Jenny)

Stephanie

Vanessa

I prefer Suzannah or Suzanne to Samantha. I really like Joanna from your list, not so keen on Imogen and whilst Amelia and Isabel are lovely, they are very popular at the monet.

I like the suggestion of Jennifer and Vanessa too.

Also would suggest:

Gabrielle
Alicia
Vivienne
Laura
Megan

and a bit unheard off at the moment, Lindsay in any of the spellings.
