Help! Surname proving a challenge...

We are due to have our little boy in 9 weeks and are having an extremely hard time naming him. Our surname is Cox. I like it but oh my gosh it's so hard to find names that go with it that don't sound rude or ridiculous. I would like something a little bit different, I don't want a popular name like James or Daniel but on the other hand don't want anything too out there like Axl or Montgomery. Please no Hugo, Isaac or Max!

Suggest away!

I think a 'C' name would be ace with Cox - how about:

Casper
Christopher (nn Kit?)
Clayton

It's good to have a now syllable surname as the first name can be as long or short as you like!

I know a Finlay with the same surname. I would say anything with two syllables would work well.

I feel your pain op! Guess what my DC's surname is?! grin We have a Jack but I understand that's very popular. I think it's quite a hard surname because it's quite short and sharp. However both my DCs have one syllable names so some would say they have short, sharp names.

We also liked: Lucas, Harry, Charlie. Again these are very popular. So I've not been much help but I agree the surname is hard! You're not alone! grin
