What do you think when you hear the name Milo?

And yes, I'm expecting a few 'it's a dog' responses!

Just wondering what you all think of it? Considering it for DC2 arriving in a couple of weeks, DS1 has a 'grandad' type name.

Thanks!

I think 'hey hey,are you ready to play,it's time to come and play with the Tweenies' !

Aside from that it is often used as a dogs name, I've never known a kid called Milo but nothing wrong with it

It's a huge chocolate milk / cereal brand in Asia, they sell Milo as part of happy meals in mcdonalds. My kids lived on Milo when we lived there, it will always be "Nesquick" in our house....

It makes me think of a lovely little boy my son plays with. But when I first heard it, it made me think of chocolate milk (a bit like nesquick)

My boss's son. It's ok, lots less Tweenies comments now than there was when he was born 5 years ago.

Quirky. A friend has a son called Milo and their other two boys have 'M' names of a similar style. I like it.

I think Edward is lovely, more my style but sadly vetoed by DH. Too royal he said Hmm

My three year old is called Milo. I'd never heard of the Tweenies until after we named him, but apart from the odd comment here and there most people aren't familiar with the programme. Never occurred to me that it was a dogs name either. We haven't met another Milo yet. I still love it.

A bit wet. It's one of those names that's 'cutsie' until the child is about 10. However, you are naming someone for life, you have to think what it will be like for them in later life having a name like that.
