I know, we have the most boringly popular names for our kids but any thoughts on what would go well with our 2 kids? Don't know if its a boy or girl, I suspect boy but am particularly struggling with boys names. Not really a fan of Ollie, Harry, Ben...but they would go well. Looking for something strong and flexible for being both a child and a grown-up.

Ooh I like Emma and Lewis too but I've changed my mind about Daniel.

Duckface I'm now wondering if there's a similar reason our subconcious paired Jack with Daniel!

I have an association with Daniel, Jack and Kate all being names or very similar to my children's names although not in that order.

Not sure if you have a family history with them or are partial to a JD and coke? GrinWink

I have a Jack, Arthur and Joseph. I love the name Daniel but thought the Jack Daniels link was too obvious.

... For a girl, I think Ella goes really well with Kate and Jack.

I know a lot of Jack and Sam, Kate and Daniel and Jack and Tom sibling sets in close friends so am ruling them out. Thomas and Alice are already middle names. Was considering Joseph, Lucy, Freddie, Rebecca, Laura...you are all pretty much bang on with suggestions just none are really jumping out to me yet!

I think a 3 syllable name goes well - so yy to Daniel! I'd veto James on the basis of it being another version of Jack iyswim. Adrian... Atticus, Christopher, Nicolas, Julian, Gregory.

For a girl: Bethany, Miranda, Pamela, Jessica, Rebekah, Lilias, Melanie, Jennifer...
