I am pregnant with dc4 and im unsure how I feel about Nancy, one minute I love it and the next im not so sure.
What do you think of it? Would you use it?

I have a Nancy. She is bright, funny, creative and passionate. She loves her name.
I know 2 others as well both adults and they are lovely people. I have never met a Nancy I didn't like.

I love it. DH didn't so we didn't use it.

I think it's one of those names that some people just don't like. You'll know better than me with three DC already but personally if I wasn't sure about a name I'd take that as a sign it wasn't right for me.

I really like it. As long as it didn't become 'Nan' which might worry me.

I like it too. It's "cool" but also a proper name.

It's a brilliant name and I would definitely use it.

I like it. Did you ever read the Arthur Ransom children's books? The Nancy character was kick-ass.

Report
BadHenry · 27/06/2015 09:35

The character's real name was Ruth, but pirates are ruthless so called herself Nancy Smile

Great name. Good associations for me. I've never met a Nancy who wasn't clever, lovely and bright Smile

I like it but it is a growing name. I've heard of 2 being born in my wider circle the last year or so n there is one in my dc's nursery so not as unusual as it was a few years ago unfortunately.

Beautiful name, love it. My husband didnt - same as above 'Nancy boy' concern, which I personally think would not be a problem at all. Go for it xxxx
