My vote goes to Matilda- I love the book though!! And would want my daughter to be as clever as the character! And it can be shortened to Tilly which is pretty. Good luck!

My niece is Jasmine and she is smart, funny, kind, sassy... So I don't get the princess vibe at all

Strange to be torn when they are so different. Jasmine = flower, Matilda = battle hard. Which would you prefer for her? That's how I would go (and have gone) about choosing
