Sorry but its a bit to out there for me, ok as a nickname for a kid but as an adult -your lawyer,surgeon, etc I'd find it strange tbh.

I didn't realise this was Baby Names to start with and looked out of the window and was about to say "Yep, I agree - it appears to not have arrived yet".

On the name front - lovely. Though only, only, only if she is born in, well, the summer. Have a friend whose DD was born in January and they called her summer. Can I admit to a childish snigger every year on her birthday...

I like it as it's a strong female name. The sun is both positive and powerful. Some female names I think are pretty but a bit whimsical - eg Daisy is lovely but Prime Minister Daisy sounds wrong somehow.

Juliet is a lovely option if you want to link her name to the time of birth. My July niece was named Julie, although that's a bit 70s now.

Summer is a gorgeous name though - I used to envy a TV character with that name, especially as she was stunningly gorgeous too.

Juliet Rosalind is beautiful (and I prefer it to Summer) but Rosalind is a Shakespeare character/heroine as well, not sure if that would bother you?
