How about names that make you sing?

Her name was Lola, she was a showgirl...
Or Lola, lo, lo, lo, Lola. Now I'm not the world's most passionate guy...

Her name was Talulah...

Lydia, oh Lydia, oh have you met Lydia?...

There's loads more but those are the ones I encounter most frequently. Grin

Dorothygherkins... We had a teacher in our school called Mr Sultana :)

I also like Edwin and Eric.

DH smiles at Monty. :)

How could you take a teacher seriously, if he was called Mr. Sultana! I also knew of a primary teacher called Mrs. Bottoms, I think her class always sniggered when they had to say her name!

Ernest. I don't even know why.

We never!! We were always in trouble for being silly! Naturally, at 14 years old the best thing to do was to call him Mr Raisin!!

I still smile at the memories :)

Mrs Bottoms is a superb name! Very apt also for primary school age humour... My DS would think that's HILARIOUS - everyone and everything at the moment is related to bottoms, bums, burps and he would find that hysterical !! :) :)
