I would love some honest opinions on these girls names

I have 2 children already, one with a very modern name and one with a very old fashioned name so I am open to anything. The names are:
Jessie
Sylvie
Heather
Beatrix
I also love Abbie and Aoife. Our second name is Cavanagh, (that is pronounced like Havana) and we are in Ireland so Beatrix would not be very common but I really like it, dh is very unsure about it.

All opinions welcome.

Aoife all the way for me, especially as you are in Ireland as people will know how to say it.

Love Sylvie and Beatrix

I don't like Heather at all. Very 80s dated vibe, and I don't see the appeal.

Beatrix will get a lot of love on here, but I don't like it much - don't love the 'beat' part.

I have a Jessie in my family so am biased, but I love it. Sylvie is lovely too.

Koala, Beatrix is usually pronounced Bee-a-trix, not Beet-rix.

3lucky, I love Sylvie, or even better, Sylvia.

I also love Beatrix, as pronounced above!

I prefer Beatrice to Beatrix, although I can't explain why. Aoife is lovely - sounds great, looks nice written down. I don't like Heather - Sylvie and Jessie and nice (but prefer Sylvia and Jessica).

I quite like Jessie although I prefer Jesse for a boy
Sylvie is pretty
Heather I'm not keen on
Beatrix I really love and this is my favourite on your list. Although strangely I don't like Beatrice at all!
Abbie is lovely
Aoife is lovely too (Milliped it's pronounced a bit like Eva but more more like Ee-fa)
Unless I misunderstood, Cavanagh is your surname so not really up for discussion!

I like Aoife but not with Cavanagh as they have the same sound at the end.

I think I'd pick Abbie (would call her Abigail nn Abbie) or Beatrix (nn Bea)

PMSL at having your surname slated! Only on MN! Grin

I like Sylvie, it's pretty and goes with your surname well.

I love Beatrix, really fabulous name. Quite like Sylvie and Abigail (not Abbie)

Aoife is nice but to aaa-y with Cavanagh imo, has a similar lilt to it which makes it sound sing-song in my head. Don't like Heather or Jessie.

I love Sylvie. Jessie makes me thinks of Toy Story I'm afraid!

With your surname I like Heather or Beatrix best

I really like Aoife but not with your surname

Jessie, Abbie & Sylvie are all fine but don't appeal to me as much as the other 3

Agree Aoife with your surname doesn't work really. I think with your surname, I do like Beatrice, as suggested by a PP, slightly better than Beatrix, and certainly better than the other names. It sounds quite literary; Bea Cavanagh sounds nice too

I like Jessie and Abbie as nicknames for Jessica and Abigail. Also like Beatrice more than Beatrix.

Aoife and Abbie are my favourites. Not keen on Jessie and Sylvie is too old fashioned for my taste.
