I am looking for a girl's name beginning with the letter 'I' or 'N'

Been through the usual, Isla, Ivy, Nadine, Nadia, Nancy etc

Looking for something pretty and a bit different?

Nell was my Nan's name! Love Imogen and Ines.

Our first names begin with the letters 'J, K, L, M'

I have OCD, it needs to be either I or N!

Nemesis grin it is in fact a girls name...... Very useful in shutting up people who keep badgering you about your choice of names. They are usually quite horrified that you might be actually considering it though you need a straight face. grin

Iona - watched a film on the Beeb over Christmas and they had two little girls called Iona and Isla. Bit much I thought but it's a pretty name on its own

Niamh - often spelled Neave or Niave/Nieve in the UK to help with the phonetics.
It means radiance, lustre, brightness. The daughter of the sea god Manannan she was known as Niamh of the Golden Hair, a beautiful princess riding on a white horse. She fell in love with Fionns son Oisin (read the legend of Niamh and Oisin) and lived with him in Tir-na-nOg (Land of the Young) (read the legend) where 300 years passed in what seemed like three weeks. In 2003 it was the eleventh most popular baby girls name in Ireland.

Neve - As in Neve Campbell. Just pronounced Nev as far as I know

Norah

Isis - bit topical though.
Isolde - pretty to read but would probably always be called Izzy
Ilsa - bit too close to Elsa in the year of Frozen
Indiana/ India and Iseult I really like.
Nicola - seems to have fallen out of fashion but always pretty

Iphigenia - just for the giggle really. In mythology, Iphigenia was sacrificed by her father, Agamemnon -- a difficult legacy to pass on to a daughter, and only one reason the name is hardly ever used.

I don't recommend it. In mythology my namesake was murdered by her father. I dont particularly warm to my own name

Ireland - only if you live in America

Nerine/Nerina - sea nymph. Nerita is sea snail so prob best to avoid

Nya

The Welsh Iona which is pronounced Yona is nice.

Isis? or too many bad connotations?
Iris

Maybe consider another initial as a form of treatment ?
What about "A" so she always comes first? [not having a dig, just flabbergasted at your reason]
