Sibling for Anouk

My friends are expecting a baby in the summer - they already have a little girl, Anouk. What names (boys and girls) might go with her name?

TIA! Smile

I really like Noa, Liese, Soren and Mads from those lists, thank-you Smile

I have a very different taste in names to my friends: I'd never heard of Anouk before they named her and I'm still clueless about other names they might be likely to choose. These suggestions give me ideas, and maybe this time I can make suggestions! Thanks again Smile

Dutch ones?

I have been told by various Dutch / / / Flemish friends that I have old fashioned taste in names...

But I like (if I were Dutch) boys - dries, nils
Girls -
Joke (pronounced yoc-ka roughly), Anne-mie

However nice Joke sounds when pronounced correctly, it's only ever going to be seen as and pronounced as joke. Imagine the teasing!

Not necessarily Dutch, but have a potentially similar feel to Anouk (to me anyway):

Ingrid
Ilse
Inga
Nina
Robyn
Hebe
Hester
Marnie
Freya
Sylvie
Petra
Cara
Frida
Magda
Elise
Raine

(I am no good at boys names sorry!)

To me Solange always sounds like what you'd call a flopped soufflé. Hmm

All great suggestions - thanks and please keep them coming!

If it helps, my friends are both very artistic and I guess I could say 'hip' Anouk's name made me feel very old and out-of-it Grin
