But not too wacky.

DS2 is on the way and struggling to beat DS1's name.

Really like:
Rafferty
Claude
Ted(dy) when young
Kit

Any bright ideas?

Please Please, any one who is thinking of calling their child something over the top, please DONT.
I can remember taking an entrance exam when I was ten and the whole room turned round to stare at me when the Teacher stumbled over the pronunciation of my name.
Everyone remembers me because of my unusual name. Not something you always want as a shy teenager, or as an adult. I get fed up with the pronunciation and correcting the spelling.
I like nice easy names like Marion or Jamie.

I have an unusual name, easy to take the piss out of, and I love it.
Also we live in an era of whacky baby names. This little one will have lots of 'out there' names in his class.
And... If a name is too popular then they really only become identified by their surname.
