Baby names

After Josephine and Iris?

Moopsy · 21/11/2014 21:41

Hello,

Our two little girls are called Josephine and Iris and I am pregnant with baby 3. :)

For girls I really like Harriet, Madeleine or Phoebe.

For a boy I like Henry, William or Toby.

DH hate all the above except for Toby. Hmm

I welcome opinions and new suggestions.

Thank you. Smile

I really like Harriet and Henry with the sibling names. William is nice too and Madeleine is ok. Not keen on Toby or Phoebe.

Madeleine is fab with Josie and Iris. If you and dh like Toby, do it. It fits fine.

I like Harriet best from your list - nice shortenings of Hatty, Harry too.

Toby is now becoming VERY popular in our area, SE, so I would avoid if that's an issue. There have been other threads about this too.

William is a fab name with several nice shortenings - Billy, Will. Although it's high up in the charts I have only met two among the billions of Archies/Oscars/Tobys! And, if it does turn out to be popular, at least you can always choose a less common shortening.

What about Timothy,Edward or Miles?

Prefer Tobias to Toby personally which gives you/him the choice.
For girls how about Susannah Nell or Dinah?
