Threeplus1 Fri 14-Nov-14 00:40:25

Please just no

NickiFury Fri 14-Nov-14 00:41:10

Are you joking?

Whiskwarrior Fri 14-Nov-14 00:43:44

Trevor's a really sexy name.

Said no woman ever.

Glastokitty Fri 14-Nov-14 02:30:18

God no, Trevor is awful.

ArsenicSoup Fri 14-Nov-14 02:32:35

I don't believe you grin

scarletforya Fri 14-Nov-14 02:36:07

I know someone with a baby Dennis, so why has it got to be a joke? Not my taste but the next generation will probably end up calling their kids Keith and the like all over again and most grandparents will be horrified, just like mine was when I gave my daughter an "old lady" name!

munchkinmaster Fri 14-Nov-14 04:24:56

James aka jimmy could work. You need James to fall back on. In fact I like it!

Mouthfulofquiz Fri 14-Nov-14 04:26:53

I have to step in here and say that I know a really really sexy Trevor (late 20s) and also a really sexy Gordon (late thirties)!
I quite like it!

AllonsyAlonso Fri 14-Nov-14 04:30:58

I love Jimmy! I also quite like Trevor, I know one and he is so sweet and kind, so I have good feelings about the name because of him.

NoArmaniNoPunani Fri 14-Nov-14 04:42:03

Trevor isn't 70's, 70's is more like Mark, David, Richard type names. Trevor goes with Clive and Nigel.

VashtaNerada Fri 14-Nov-14 04:47:29

I'm not a fan. It was when DH suggested Brian for DS that I decided he would have no role in naming the baby whatsoever grin

burgatroyd Fri 14-Nov-14 07:54:10

I like it! He will stand out amongst the Olivers, Oscars, Charlies... In a good way

RaaRaaIsAnnoying Fri 14-Nov-14 10:02:08

Hahaha seriously?

SouthBySouthWest Fri 14-Nov-14 10:05:06

I once knew a corgi called Trevor <helpful>

Geraldthegiraffe Fri 14-Nov-14 10:14:15

My first boyfriend was a farmer's son called Trevor.

Just no.

ShatnersBassoon Fri 14-Nov-14 10:16:49

Baby Trev? No, Trev is definitely a man in his 60s.

TheKitchenWitch Fri 14-Nov-14 10:17:47

I have only known very lovely (and in some cases sexy) Trevors, so to my mind it's a fab name!
I also know a rather wonderful Clive NoArmani which means that name sounds good to me too grin

Beehatch Fri 14-Nov-14 10:19:53

I came across a young farmer type named Trevor in my youth too. He had dirty finger nails - nuff said.

Geraldthegiraffe Fri 14-Nov-14 10:33:10

Oooh same one? Or were there lots of them?!
