Found out I'm having a Boy & initially decided on the name Ruairi but I'm just wanting to see if their is anything else I like before committing to it smile

Bertie smile
well actual name will be Robert following a family tradition on DH's side but I love Bertie for a nickname. It's how he will be known till he's old enough to choose another version of Robert if he prefers.
I should say if it's a boy! We find out on Monday. No idea for girls names atm.

Oh, I like Rory but I'd spell it Rory unless you're Scottish or Irish. And even then, the Irish put a d on the end of it and the Scottish don't so Rory is much easier. I like Diarmuid and Cormac too, in that style. I'm sure my first list is not at all to your taste!

Smuk Dp is Irish & I wanted something that goes with his very Irish surname & I much prefer the Irish spelling smile

Also I thought it was the Welsh version that has a 'D' on the end confused

I know a young man called Bertie, short for Robert. He hates it, and calls himself Rob instead. All his friends call him Rob, only his parents call him Bertie.
