Eg the main characters in Pretty Woman are Edward and Vivian. I love both names but just couldn't name my kids after a prostitute and client even if fictional.

I think it would be a bit weird to name a brother and sister after a fictional romantic couple.

'I'm called Paul and my sister's called Jeanne. We're named after that couple in Last Tango in Paris y'know.......the ones with the um, butter'.

Joel and Clementine from Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind - we could have gone for these as like them both but would always be worried about the names becoming instantly dated. I guess as films get less popular this is less of a worry, shouldn't think anyone remembers these character names anyway.
