Esme or Isla

We can't decide between the two. Esme (pronounced dismay) or Isla.

I actualy prefer Isla but popularity would bother me. Therefore esme.

Shakemysilliesout that is exactly what I think too. Isla looks so pretty written down and goes beautifully with the middle name we've chosen and our surname, but I don't want her to be one of 3 or 4 in her class or have people thinking "I'm sick of hearing that name".

Well, DS had six Isla's in his nursery class, he moved to preschool and now there are seven (diff kids).

DS has a popular classic name, but round here the Isla/Islay/Eila thing is getting a bit out of control!

Esme is cute, but also would work when older.
