Irish boys names?

Hi,
I'm having a boy and although we could think of lots of lovely girls names we are getting stuck on boys names now that we know what we're having. We would like a nice Irish name, any suggestions??
Cheers,

Here are a few off the top of my head. I've put the English translation beside them so if you like the look of a name you can see if you have a relative or family name that would tie in with it. My son is called an Irish version of his grandfather's name.

Finn (either as a name alone or shortened from Finbarr or Fintan)
Lorcan
Cathal, Searlaí (Charles and Charlie)
Daithi (David)
Liam (William)
Tomás (Thomas obviously)
Seán (John)
Colum
Eoin (Owen, John)
Seamus (James)
Oscar
Oisin (pronounced Ush-een)
Seóirse (George)
Pádraig (Patrick)
Diarmuid (Dermot, but I like Diarmuid a lot more!)

16 week old DS2 is Sullivan, born on St. Patrick's Day! Have had nothing but compliments on his name.

(Professor) L Todd, Celtic Names for Children, Dublin 2000 p135:
"Liam is the Irish form of William"
and
"Uilliam is occasionally used as an Irish form of William, but Liam is preferred".

I'm Scottish, so what do I know, but Prof Todd is, as we Scots would say, 'weel-respectit'.

The Scottish Gaelic for William is Uilleam: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uilleam

Fearghal. I know a very English Fearghal with a very Irish twinkle in his eye.

Cilllian. If you use a K it isn't an Irish name!

Weatherall, several of those don't ring true at all. I find that quite a few 'Irish baby name' books and websites are badly-researched and American.

'Hiero' is Greek, for a start, Kian is an Anglicisation of the name 'Cian' (no letter K in Irish, which also rules out 'Kyras'), and Murphy is a surname that is sometimes used as a first name by Irish Americans, but would stick out as odd and culturally-off in Ireland.

And Keelin is an anglicised Caolfhionn, or Caolainn, which is a girls' name. Those books are strange. And Kelly is another surname sometimes used as a girls' name...
