Looking for maybe a spacey or nature middle name?

I think we are going to go for Theodore (will probably be Theo day to day though) but obviously have to wait to see him first and see if it suits.

We're both interested in having an unusual middle name for him and need some suggestions. We love nature and DP loves space, last night we were looking at pictures of Nebulas and thought how cool it would be to be named after something so beautiful. Is it a bit too weird though?

Surname is very short so have scope for a longer or short middle name. Hit me with some suggestions!

After one of the planets? I know someone with the middle name Jupiter.

Im not very space-minded but am sure there are some cool names of stars & moons?

Nature wise:
Heath
Bracken
Forrest
Ash
River
Storm
Oakley
Leif

Ps it doesn't have to be something to do with space or nature, anything slightly unusual with a good meaning behind it would be nice.

Thanks so far, will show DP later. He would love Spock! He's been pushing for Thor or Atlantic, don't think he will get the deciding vote! Grin

Theodore Atlantic sounds like a travel firm Grin

Theodore Thor has quite a nice sound to it. Written down it looks as though it should sound awkward but when I said it out loud I liked it. I would depend on your surname though, Theodore Thor Thornton would probably be pushing a good thing too far for instance.

Surname is 1 syllable, not beginning with Th, but I'm still not having Thor! I think he would compromise and have Iron Man but I'm not to keen on that one either.

I like Rowan, I think that would sound nice. Fox is cool as well :)

Phoenix or Jupiter

I also like Nova, Venus and Rain but, despite just being things, they sound like girls' names to me for some reason.

YY I love Nova but DP said the same, too girly.

I love Bear as well but I think I would be tempted to call him Teddy as a NN sometimes, and Teddy Bear is maybe also a step too far!
