I like all of the girls names, especially Beatrice and Grace, but only Alexander out of the boys names. Why Harri with an I, by the way?

I have found girls names much easier, struggled to come up with boys names.

Harri is the Welsh spelling of Harry.

Initial reaction:

Roman - Poncey
Austin - Powers
Magnus - Old
Lennon - Overused in these parts
Harri - Looks short for Harriet
Alexander - Okay

Grace - Nice but popular here
Beatrice - Old
Sophie - Okay
Violet - Okay
Matilda - Okay
Emma/Emily - Nice but pppular here

If I were to choose it would be Alexamder and Emily.

There is only one r in the Welsh Hari :-)

Roman is ok, prefer Rowan.
like Alexander a lot, Hari too.

Love Violet and Matilda, like the others but they are v popular, if you don't mind that they'll be fine! Emily is v pretty.

I have never seen Harri with one r and the websites I have looked at also have it with two. It does look nice with one r.

I'm not too worried about popularity, in my area Violet, Matilda etc are not at all popular it's mainly Eva/Eva/Ella/Gracie.

Nice to get some views as I don't want to discuss or with family or friends.

I really like Roman a lot, and it's my first choice by a long way from your list. (I don't like Rowan at all)
I also like Austin, it's a good solid name that would grow with the child.
I quite like Magnus, especially if your surname is a bit Nordic such as Erickson.
I know thousands of Welshmen but have never come across a Harri, with one R or two Rs and he would spend his whole life correcting the Harry spelling. Are you Welsh?
Lennon is a surname, and as a first name is just too obvious and trying too hard.
Alexander is hugely popular, there will be three or four in his class at school and probably a couple of Xanders too.

Your girl's names are all very pretty and sweet, but very popular, probably all in the top ten for this year.

Yes I'm Welsh and live in Wales...Roman is my favourite along with Alexander but I just don't like Alex and I know it'll get shortened.

I dislike Rowan. I kind of agree with you in Lennon, I don't want a try hard name. I just want a good solid name that's classic but not overly common...impossible.

Any suggestions of girls names that are similar but a little less common? The ones on my list that are popular in my area are Emily and Grace the others not so much.

Emmeline? Might be a more unusual than Emma / Emily.

Ava? I always though Ava Grace would go quite well together.

And following the Welsh theme, how about Dylan, Huw or Hywel for a boy?
