Hi all

Any thoughts. We are expecting twin girls and set on daisy for one. However struggling with a second.

Quite like Emma and dh has just suggested pippa.

Poppy! (As in Ben and Holly's little kingdom). And I did actually meet a daisy and poppy set of twin girls once.

I think Emily goes well with Daisy.

I wouldn't go for another flower name as it starts to become some sort of a theme. I have a DD with a flower name. Names I like which I think go well are Matilda, Polly, Jemima, Florence, Nancy, Hattie, Molly, Maggie.

Daisy and Emma sounds lovely... Not keen on
Pippa or Lila to be honest.
I know sisters called Daisy and Olivia so I obviously think they go well together.

If you and DH like two-syllable names like Emma and Pippa, what about names such as :

Anna, Anya, Clara, Stella, Frances, Sarah, Zara, Susan, Juno, Helen, Lorna, Clea/Cleo, Thea, Leah, Julie, Sylvie, Hebe (a shrub and a goddess!), Cora, Tessa, Edith...

These questions might just perhaps help narrow down the possibilities:

Would you want - or NOT want:

  1. name starting with 'D', eg Daisy and Dora?

  1. very long name (unbalanced??) eg Daisy and Evangelina?

  1. name ending in an 'ee', 'ie' sound or 'y' spelling, eg 'Daisy and Molly' or 'Daisy and Ruby, Elsie, Sally, Sophy ?

  1. name with matching 'a' sound, for example, 'Daisy and Mabel', or 'Daisy and Ailsa', 'Daisy and May'?

6.flower name , but with a different sound: eg Daisy and Rose, Daisy and Lilac, Daisy and Fern ...

  1. Flower name from a different language or with different origins: eg Rhoda (= Rose), Laura (=laurel) etc

  1. A different nature name (bird, tree...), eg Linnet, Rowan, Saffron, Holly, Willow

  1. Since Daisy is short for Margaret, you'd presumably want to avoid Maggie, Margot, Pearl, Greta etc

Thanks for all these, so helpful. We will get there. Personally I would have any flower names and don't mind about the tweeness but dh not up for it.

Hmm

I like the suggestion of Daisy and Emily or Daisy and Grace. I would stick to similar length names or make the first and middle name lengths opposite- daisy alexandra and victoria emily for example.

Ideas:

daisy and leah
daisy and amber
daisy and sophie
daisy and ella
daily and sara
daisy and evie
daisy and bella
daisy and kiera
daisy and larna
daisy and chloe
daisy and anna
daisy and isla
daisy and naomi
daisy and fiona
daisy and rachel
daisy and rebecca
