Opinions please!

Its a pretty non-descript name so the fields wide open for her to make her own way.

Middleagedmotheroftwo Wed 26-Mar-14 12:48:10

Regal and serene.

DrinkFeckArseGirls Wed 26-Mar-14 12:50:57

Ha ha, never met a serene Alexandra!

Poughle Wed 26-Mar-14 12:52:30

Intelligent and energetic.

I know two Alexandras (Alexs) both a confident & clever. One is my age & a successful engineer. One is 17 and applying to do Law at university.
Both are coincidentally tall. So on that unscientific basis it's a pretty good name & makes you taller than average. grin

Bowlersarm Wed 26-Mar-14 12:55:03

Confident and attractive.

Cotherstone Wed 26-Mar-14 12:56:14

My nearly Alexandra is so not serene... She's definitely more of an Alex than an Alexandr(i)a grin

It's a good name though (obviously, as we chose it). Classic, everyone knows it, loads of flexibility on shortenings and nicknames but always with the option for a more 'formal' name when they grow up.

A bit posh.

JacqueslePeacock Wed 26-Mar-14 13:01:52

Rather haughty, I think. Regal.

Nocturne123 Wed 26-Mar-14 13:03:45

Very pretty , sensitive and intelligent !

Mireio Wed 26-Mar-14 15:28:29

Confident, attractive, sporty and intelligent.

scarletforya Wed 26-Mar-14 15:30:39

Spanish or Italian is my first thought!

lambbone Wed 26-Mar-14 15:35:09

My daughter!

Oubliette0292 Wed 26-Mar-14 15:36:30

The only adult Alexandra I know is a vicar.

Love this name, can be regal and formal or when shortened tomboyish, girl-next-door, fun. Perfect for career choices.

Would be on my list except I had an ex called Alex so DH has vetoed it.

A pain the bum who is currently chasing a balloon around the living room.

I have one.

It's a lovely name.

TheNightIsDark Wed 26-Mar-14 15:52:21

Mine is tall too. Definitely not serene and most certainly knows her own mind!

I have a crazy, gorgeous, funny, clever, knows-no-fear 2 yo Alex. I can highly recommend one grin

alita7 Wed 26-Mar-14 19:23:08

I'm alex(andra) and I'm certainly not regal... or tall I'm very short actually. Unfortunately DP is refusing to pick 5 words to describe me with. ..

TidyDancer Wed 26-Mar-14 19:25:25

Beautiful name. I don't know what kind of girl she would be though! The only one I know, however, is lovely, caring and loyal if that helps?!

NigellasDealer Wed 26-Mar-14 19:27:40

depends if she is an Alex, Alexa, Ola, Lexi or Sandra really.....

Egusta Wed 26-Mar-14 19:28:37

It is a very elegant name IMO
