Georgia?
Middle name would either be Elizabeth or Belle.
I'd be interested to know your opinion and if you know many under 18's called Georgia
Thanks
(We have already discounted Georgina and Georgiana)

Reminds me of the US state.

I think Georgia Belle is really lovely!

Georgia Elizabeth is lovely - I don't know any little Georgias.
Georgia Belle sounds like the name of a paddle steamer.

I know a couple of Georgias, aged 9-10. I don't think it goes too well with Belle, sounds a bit redneck, sorry.

I like it, especially with Elizabeth as the middle name. Not so sure about Belle

I really like it. I find Georgia Elizabeth a but regal though. That might not bother you though!

I know one who is 2.

2 in my Dd's ballet class (2 year olds).
I like it, but it's getting quite popular.

I'm a teacher and Georgias always seem to be a little bit cheeky (naughty on a bad day) I LOVE the name but didn't chose it for either of my daughters for that reason. If you're not a teacher, I'd say go for it as it's v.pretty.

I quite like Georgia. I know one aged 9 and 3 aged 1-4.

There seem to be a lot of Georgias around. But its been so for at least 20 years. There was one in my eldests class and he's now in his 20's, it was quite unusual then. Its an ok name and at least you haven't spelled it "Jorja" like a friend of a friend named their dd a few months ago. Hmm

I really like Georgia. Very pretty. I only know one in early 20s. I prefer Georgia Elizabeth. Georgia Belle sounds like a boat to me, but I tend to think using Belle as a middle name will do that to any first name. I would steer clear of Belle for that reason.

Do you like Georgia Beth? Cross between Elizabeth and belle...

Report
Mireio · 26/03/2014 15:45

Georgia Belle reminds me of the US state too and sounds like name for a 'southern belle' i.e. Scarlett O'Hara from Gone With the Wind. I prefer Georgia Elizabeth.

Georgia Elizabeth is beautiful.

Georgia Belle sounds very redneck/hillbilly.

It's wildly popular in the area I live, has been for donkey's years. A little pocket of popularity if you will.

I think Georgina is more attractive but Georgia Elizabeth sounds perfectly nice too.

Georgiana is an alternative. Georgia is a pretty name but quite common.
