Hello all - new to site (and I'm a dude)... suggestions needed. Our baby is due end of May, we don't know the sex and don't want to. We have an unusual surname - Tuff. Struggling for ideas for baby names, particularly for boys.

Can anyone throw anything into the hat?

Can you give a clue about the style of names you like?
- classic and traditional e.g. Edward, William
- classic but more unusual e.g. Rufus, Jasper
- old man - Stanley, Albert
- hipster - Byron, Spike

Hmmm - classic but unusual I'd say. Something different to usual, but not totally wacky.

Not something ending in s, as it would sound like "stuff", e.g. Miles Tuff = Mile Stuff. Or if it starts with S you'd get initials S. Tuff, so again like "stuff".

I'd go for more than one syllable to counteract the short surname.

Aidan Tuff
Matthew Tuff
Oliver Tuff
Jacob Tuff
Nathan Tuff
Dominic Tuff
Ryan Tuff
Gregory Tuff
Harvey Tuff
Austin Tuff
Rowan Tuff
Sheldon Tuff
Dylan Tuff

Conrad might fit the bill, unusual but not too wacky
