Scottish names

My OH is Scottish. He is set on a Scottish name if we have a boy (although not for a girl for some reason)

I hardly like anything! Fraser, Hamish, Angus.. none of these appeal to me at all. I kind of like Alexander and Cameron but neither of these names would be on the radar at all if it wasn't for the Scottish thing. I want to LOVE my babies name, but I know it's not just about me.

Any suggestions?

Jamie is a compromise as it's not too Scottish. And he can always be James on his birth certificate, which is quite plain/ classic.

I doubt you'll like the Fergus, Hamish, Rory like names, which is a shame.

I have a Louis and a Sandy(Alexander) and I always liked Bruce and Brodie.
We have LOADS of Callum's and Findlays in these parts( Scotland). Lachlan is lovely. I also liked Murdo but DP reminded me that Danger Mouse in Gaelic was Donnie Murdo(You tube the theme tune) and it put me off.
Harris is lovely too.
