DH and I have 2 DS and we all have names beginning with S. We are now expecting DC3 and we are stumped for names.

Nothing too popular but not too alternative.

Please help. All suggestions considered. Add a middle name too if you like. Nothing beginning with J, D, B or F - these are taken.

Seren is my favourite girls name. Also Sabrina, Serena, Sienna.

Stephen or Sebastian for a boy.

Won't that cause problems with things like bank accounts, mail etc?

I know a family who all have first names beginning with J, and sometimes they end up opening each other's post.

IamMrsElf Mon 03-Mar-14 11:19:45

Bunbaker that is a very good point, which is why we have different middle names, it was my hope that it would stop confusion. Only time will tell...

It happened as a sort of accident. DH and I had the same initial, nothing we could do about that. We liked lots of different names for DS1 particularly Finley, but it became very popular very quickly and when we went back to our list we both just really liked Stanley and so that is what DS1 is called. Middle name Byron.

So then when DS2 came along we thought we better have another S name as he may feel left out. So he is Spencer Finn.

My Dad and all his sisters have C names except one who has an S and she feels very much the black sheep of the family, so DH and I decided to stick with the S theme.

We don't know what gender DC3 is yet. I am particularly stuck on boys names. I feel like I've used my best choices.

I love loads of the girls names suggested. Thank you all so much for the ideas. There are loads and all really lovely.
