You're on a baby name board, of course we got suggestions as well as heap loads of opinions (sometimes too many)!

You need to help us out though. What kind if namer are you? Traditional, original? Short and snappy or long and flowy? Etc.

Thank u for all them suggestions yes my daughter is called Ava rose and loved her name from day one of been pregnant but really struggling this time to agree on one we seem to like old fashioned or unusual names like
Elsie
Evelyn
Beau
But my oh doesn't like these and for a boy we can only agree on
Arther
But I'm not 100% on it! Arrrrh it's stressing me out lol! My oh says he wants a good strong manly name for a boy I love
Sonnie for a boy but he really doesn't like that either x

Elsie and Evelyn are lovely for girls.

How about Quentin, Felix or Dominic for boys as an alternative to Arthur?

Do you think your OH might consider any of these? They are old and not very 'usual' at the moment: Sally/Sarah, Emma, Jenny (Jennifer), Katy/Kitty (Katherine), Amy, Beth (Elizabeth), Maud, Muriel, Annie/Anna, Hannah, Jane, Jean, Joan/Joanne/Joanna, Victoria, Helena, Margaret, Jemima, Julia/Julie/Juliet, Jess/Jessica, Louise/Louisa, Sylvia, Dora/Dorothy, Marie/Mary, Florence, Vanessa, Caroline, Harriet, Amanda, Suzanne/Susannah, Belinda, Jilly, Alice, Clara, Laura, Frances...

Edith, Emily, Eleanor (Nell), Beatrice/Beatrix and Isabella are old, too, but fairly popular in some regions right now.

How about another flower name, like 'Rose'? For example: Lily, Willow, Flora, Poppy, Clover, Violet, Jessamine, Daisy, Iris...

For boys, I think Arthur is nice. I prefer it to Sonnie (I really don't wish to offend, but that sounds rather like a nickname to me. Come to think of it, it would be a good nickname for any little boy, whatever his official name, so perhaps you could use it that way Smile)

Arthur is nice, but do spell it properly if you're going to use it.

Rowan
Yes to earlier suggestion of Simon
