Surname Warren... Its the only name we've really agreed on... I like the descriptiveness of it as well..

It sounds beautiful smile

Innogen Tue 25-Feb-14 19:32:59

I know 6 Scarlett roses. There's nothing exciting about it anymore for me.

Alisvolatpropiis Tue 25-Feb-14 19:35:54

It sounds like a description rather than a name.

ForgettableTampon Tue 25-Feb-14 19:37:33

No. It's describing something. Especially with a surname that's also a noun - sounds like you're describing a dark red rabbit warren.

ColouringInQueen Tue 25-Feb-14 20:13:34

Hmmm not sure Scarlett Rose Warren actually sounds like a girls name? sorry...

justhayley Tue 25-Feb-14 21:06:31

Very pretty

bouquetofpencils Tue 25-Feb-14 23:15:55

Beautiful name.

I'm glad you said it silk. The scarlet rose warren? Ahem. It's like calling a baby 'hot pink tunnel' or something.

thegreatgatsby101 Wed 26-Feb-14 09:28:13

Like the name Scarlett but definitely not with Rose as the middle name.
The first thing that popped into my head was Jane or Louise.

HyvaPaiva Wed 26-Feb-14 09:34:53

I'm really sorry, OP, but 'Scarlet Rose Warren' sounds like an intimate description in a trashy novel.

notso Wed 26-Feb-14 09:35:35

I love both names but not together. Are you using Rose because it has a meaning for you or just because?

SilkStalkings Wed 26-Feb-14 18:30:31

Coco Lane.
Honey Tubbs.
Sorta thing.

Onesleeptillwembley Wed 26-Feb-14 18:33:11

No. It really is naff to put them together.

Trooperslane Wed 26-Feb-14 18:34:17

I think it is properly beautiful.

That was my daughter's name till 2 days before she was born so I love it. smile She just didn't look like a Scarlet at the lady scan and when she came out so I changed it. smile

Handbagsatdawn Wed 26-Feb-14 18:39:32

No. She'll be known as Scarlet Warren - like Hyva said, sounds like a trashy novel.

girliefriend Wed 26-Feb-14 18:41:37

Scarlett Rose I like but Scarlett Warren does sound a bit odd - sorry!

Handbagsatdawn Wed 26-Feb-14 18:44:44

How about Charlotte Rose? Rhymes with Scarlett (mostly) with none of the strange connotations.
