I have been told by my sister that I cant use my favourite name Jackson as her kids half brother is called jack. I never see this child and my son will never him so its pissed me off tbh, she knows I don't like most boys names and every other name I've considered has been met by her with disgust or ridicule. I'd understand if it was 1 of her children and they would be related and see each other regularly but her partners child is a stranger in my eyes
So here is a list of boys names I kind of like

Jackson (not being taken off)
Flynn
Leonidas
loki (suggested by a different sister not sure if im keen)
Massimo/Maximus (surname starts with M so might be too much, also been told I cant have it as a cousin I never see named their child maximus)
Zachary
Brandon

any suggestions that I might like would be welcome Smile

Call him whatever you like. It's your baby & not close relation at all. Jackson is top of my boys list. Baby due in 2 weeks. Although I'm still deciding how I'd spell it.

Agree. Your baby = your choice of name.
However:

Loki = a spiteful, deceitful, trickster with very strange habits.

Maxiumus = 'the biggest' or 'the greatest'. A lot to live up to!

Prefer your other suggestions. Good luck!

I have a Flynn! We also had Ellis, Curtis and Dexter on our shortlist. I loved Arlo, Harrison, Jackson and Leighton which DH dis-guarded or didn't go with our surname.

My only problem with Flynn and the reason its not top of the list is Flynn ryder, wouldn't be a problem for most families but mine is weird, if we can sing your name to you or say it in an accent we will Smile (only to each other and the nieces and nephews) 1 is called George and he gets called Jorge in the gayest French accent imaginable lol

Jackson and don't let your sister dictate what you call your DS. Smile
