Hi
Just found out that I am pregnant with dc2 and my hisband and I are already stumped about possible baby names and wondered whether anyone had any possible names that would go with my dd (16 months) who is Seren Grace. We live in West Wales and my husband is Welsh so any Welsh names could be considered and my heritage is Irish so any celtic name would be nice as well.
Just in case you didnt know, Seren means star in welsh so names with meanings would be good too!
Thanks

Seren was on my short list for DD but we went with Cerys! Seren is beautiful.

I love Osian for a boy

Love Osian for a boy, although I should state that my family, although irish descent, are from sheffield so cant have anything too welsh like gruffydd, gwenllian, llywelyn etc. We just got away with Seren and even then my nan pronounces it like Cyril!
They are much more comfortable with gaelic names so roisin is a fantastic name. Also love niamh and orlagh, but my husband isnt keen on those because he doesnt think people will be able to pronounce them (this coming from a welshman)

I love Eleri. DS1 was going to be Carys, if he'd been a girl.

My grandma was Gwyneth.

Nothing useful to add just surprised to see Seren in a thread title. It's my current favourite for my dd due in June but dh is swithering as he's never heard of it. I love it though and pleased to hear it means star.

Aneira - 'eira' being the Welsh for 'snow'. I think it's a lovely sounding name, and comes from nature just like Seren

I know someone with DC called Seren & Neirin.

Anwen means 'most beautiful', I love the name might be biased as my DD2 is Anwen

And Eira on it's own is a name, DH's granny was called Eira.
