Ok only 7 weeks so long way to go but I actually don't really love any boys names! Never even had names with last 3 as found out they were all girls.

So if I list a few names I don't like can anyone try and come up with some suggestions of ones I might fall in love with ?

Samuel
Joshua
Edward
William
Thomas
Luke
Albert
Alfie
Archie
Toby
Matthew
Reece
Ben
Joe
Reggie

Will stop there could prob go on

I really like Edward, I also like Eddie, Ed and Ted.

I know a little Reggie who gets lots of positive comments.

I think girl's names are much easier to choose, but I don't know why.

What about less english names? Soren, Stellan, Kiran, Lars, Wyatt, etc.

Or surnamey names? Fisher, Parker, Carter etc?

Posh names? Lucien, Rufus, Sebastian, Montague?

I love Huey, but DH thinks its too cute.

My little boy is called Albie (Albert full name). Unusual but classic and everyone likes it :-)

Good luck!

Would you tell us your girls names so we have an idea of what you like?

I agree! One of my reasons for not having a third is in case its a boy as it was enough of a struggle coming up with names for DS whereas I could name at least another 3 girls.
We didn't want anything too faddy (Jayden, Reece & similar) or too popular (Jack, Harry etc) or too old-man-but-fashionable (Arthur, Stanley etc) so ended up considering names which we (mid 30s) considered to be standard boys names like Matthew, Peter, Andrew, Nicholas, Christopher etc. We'd had a similar approach on girls' names but there were so many "normal" girls' names that I liked (Elizabeth, Caroline, Alexandra, Anna).

I agree boys names are difficult. DS1 got a compromise name as we couldn't agree. DS2 got named by the midwife after 5 days as we couldn't come up with anything we could both agree on.

I agree with you OP. We have 3 DDs and really struggled to think of any boys names while I was pg. But our last DD would have been Toby if she'd been a boy. I still love it as a name, even though it wasn't on the radar for our previous 2 shortlists. I see you have it on your list too, so I would say - choose Toby!

Alternatively how about Seth or Reuben?

Thank you for all the replies, the less English names, the surname names and the more romantic names just really don't do it for me at all...... Sorry

I'm certainly not liking Akexander,Seth, Patricks, David's, peters etc are also on my def hate list!

But Nathan I one name I have always liked, even mentioned this when was pg with my first but everyone and I mean everyone laughed and hated it, really not sure why I also quite like the nn Nate

My dd's are A n n a l e e, A m e i l a, H e I d i !!! And if this one is a girl it will be Lucy, which is the name all my dd were going to be

Please keep the suggestions coming thanks

So what if everyone said they don't like Nathan. They have probably forgotten they ever said that or have you mentioned it regarding this pregnancy?. If you like Nathan then go for it and stuff everyone else. Don't whatever you do mention it and then if you have a boy just announce it. I think it's a modern classic. This is all assuming your DP is on board with it!
