Clara still needs a middle name

Actually, she doesn't, we'd be quite happy not to use one, but I'm still hoping for some divine inspiration. There's no family names we'd like to use. Throw all your ideas at me please!

Surname is two syllables and starts with D.

I know

Clara Rose
Clara Elizabeth
Clara Sophia

I think all of those are nice!

I don't think Rose works really. Clahruh rose. Too many 'r's. I would also avoid anything beginning with a vowel eg 'Clara Anna' as it would come out sounding like 'Clara Ranna'. Something beginning with 'M' would be good.
Marie?
Marianne?
Marnie?
Miriam?
Madeleine
May?

Or the ubiquitous 'Grace' would also work.

You could go slightly out there with the middle name.

Loveday?
Niamh?

I actually really like the Belle suggestion above!

Not J - you wouldn't want initials CJD ... Nor, I think, another name ending -a

Meredith

I don't think that names beginning with a vowel are easy to say after a name endng on a vowel.

Clara -er- lizabeth
Claraer-elise..

My DS only has one name, it has worked so far. And I have no middle name, and haven't missed it.

Clara Simone
Clara Ninette
Clara Martine
Clara Mathilde

Somehow a two syllable name that doesn't start or end in a vowel sounds best to me.
