Strong and not so fluffy girl's names - help please

Hi all,

We've got a very short list of girl names we like, it would be great to get your opinions on them and also if you can think of any other names on the same line.

Sarah (already thought of a middle name to match - Annabelle)
Anna
Abigail

Our surname is rare so needs to be spelt out all the time so maybe a less complex first name will be a good match. Also we have a son called Elliot if that's any help.

Thanks in advance, we'd appreciate it as we've hit a bit of a naming block.

I like all of those, really nice classic names. Abigail is probably my favourite if I had to choose

Other similar suggestions
Rebecca
Hannah
Clara
Rachel
Amy
Catherine
Emily

Was going to suggest Laura but saw your username so guess that's out! Smile

I'm very biased as I have a frankie (Francesca). Francesca can be girly (but def not fluffy!), frankie or Fran other options to use.

I'm biased, but I have a Harriet. A strong name I think, and really suits her and her character. The only downside I've found with her name is it gets spelt with 2 t's. Not sure why. One is her nursery (and just 1 person I think does that) and the other is very dear friend who sees the name on Facebook often enough! But it is just those 2

Thanks for all of those, definite food for thought. Our short list is growing! Billie is lovely but with our surname causes a bit of a tongue twister, what a shame.

How about our original list, not many comments on those names? Or should I not ask... Hmm

Love your shortlist. I liked Abigail but had it in my head that DH didn't so I didn't suggest it. Now dd2 is 21 months I mentioned it in passing and apparently he really likes it. bugger Hmm
