Boy or girl?

lchats Fri 18-Oct-13 13:56:43

Ahh boy - just checking smile

oldboiler Fri 18-Oct-13 14:01:28

His other son is called Jaydon. Says it all.

BettyBi0 Fri 18-Oct-13 14:01:33

I always saw Parker as a girls name

willyoulistentome Fri 18-Oct-13 14:01:59

The only Parker I knew was a dog.

LackaDAISYcal Fri 18-Oct-13 14:02:40

Who are Frankie Sandford and Wayne Bridge?

picnicbasketcase Fri 18-Oct-13 14:03:05

Not that bad a name generally speaking but not great with that surname.

Thisisaeuphemism Fri 18-Oct-13 14:03:12

Thunderbirds fan?

Parker Bridge? That did make me laugh for some unknown reason.

MrsBungle Fri 18-Oct-13 14:05:17

Not my cup of tea but it's not really terrible.

mumofthemonsters808 Fri 18-Oct-13 14:06:03

I also thought it was a girls name.

DrinkFeckArseGirls Fri 18-Oct-13 14:06:26

Park at a Bridge

TheNunsOfGavarone Fri 18-Oct-13 14:22:25

I always thought it was a surname. Really not sure why people would choose an inoffensive but very ordinary surname for their child when there are so many gorgeous names around.

And Parker Bridge just sounds too traffic-ey somehow.

Choccyhobnob Fri 18-Oct-13 14:38:37

I don't mind the name Parker I guess although it reminds me of Thunderbirds and the annoying character in Friends played by Alec Baldwin! But Parker Bridge doesn't go well to my ears.

daughterofafarmer Fri 18-Oct-13 14:48:59

Don't mind Parker, heard worse, heard better. Agree with thenuns sounds too traffic like . At least it's not London grin

RightsaidFreud Fri 18-Oct-13 14:51:45

Parker is a great name, but not with their surname. I've always thought of it as a boys name.

daughterofafarmer Fri 18-Oct-13 14:55:13

Ohh her off The Saturday's...

Get it now.

squoosh Fri 18-Oct-13 15:46:20

Parker Bridge does sound odd, trafficy and carparky.

usualsuspect Fri 18-Oct-13 15:52:57

I like the name Parker.

Would like to know what oldboilers getting at though.

Although I have no clue who the couple are tbh.

MikeLitorisBites Fri 18-Oct-13 15:58:38

Another interested to hear what oldboiler means.

Parker Bridge sounds fine to me. Heard worse.

MaryBerrysBlazer Fri 18-Oct-13 16:39:21

Ah don't be so mean.

Parker is a fine name.

oldboiler Fri 18-Oct-13 18:19:57

He is a footballer and they generally lack class, hence the names. Although do prefer Parker to Jaydon.

ShadeofViolet Fri 18-Oct-13 18:21:53

I like Parker

But I dont think it goes well with the surname.
