Thank you everyone!
Discussed with husband and he's quite keen on Felicity Seren Rose (Rose is a family name on his side) so think we're decided at last just in case it is a girl!

I'm a Felicity nicknamed Fliss smile

Its my no1 choice if I'm ever lucky enough to have a baby girl. Love the nn Fliss and knew one who close friends called her Itty.

Fliss Flick, Fil, and I think for a brief spell as a teenager, Floss may have been in there too and now there are students who just never remember how to pronounce it and you end up being called facility which just reminds me of a public convenience! Am very strict on it not being shortened but no-one ever listens. I do like the fact that there aren't many of us around though.

I love it. And I have a Henry :-)

heidihole Thu 03-Oct-13 21:34:01

I think thats a lovely name

LittleMissPear Thu 03-Oct-13 21:26:37

I love it too, it's my name! I've always loved it, people often comment and I like that it's a 'grown up' name. I do get called flick for short but I don't mind it!

MrsMarigold Thu 03-Oct-13 21:17:22

I love Felicity.

NauseousKitty Thu 03-Oct-13 21:11:11

Love Felicity. Fliss is a cute NN or Lissa.

Nancyclancy Thu 03-Oct-13 20:45:32

5madthings Thu 03-Oct-13 20:41:48

HeirToTheIronThrone Thu 03-Oct-13 20:36:35

I know a lovely Felicity and she shortens to Felix which is just cool IMO smile

Allalonenow Thu 03-Oct-13 20:34:23

Felicity Seren Mary, I think you have a lovely combination of names there. I really like Felicity, both the meaning and the sound. There are a few other NN if you do not favour Flick.

olivo Thu 03-Oct-13 20:27:47

You could shorten to Lissy?

southeastdweller Thu 03-Oct-13 20:27:05

Too 'jolly hockey sticks' for me, plus I hate the 'Flick' abbreviation.

olivo Thu 03-Oct-13 19:55:36

I like felicity. I also like seren for a middle name. not keen on Mary.

Monkeymonstermum Thu 03-Oct-13 19:43:10

Seren is a welsh name - means star

ch1134 Thu 03-Oct-13 19:09:51

To me Felicity is a happy, lively, bouncy name (meaning happiness), but I'm not a fan as I don't like the sound of it. Seren is calm, like Serene. So it's a bit of a contradiction. But that's just me.

Monkeymonstermum Thu 03-Oct-13 17:08:06

Felicity Seren Mary

What do you think?

Or Evelyn Seren?? Or too many vowels?!

Boy will probably be Henry......
