I know one Ezra - it suits her beautifully

It's known internationally as a Biblical boys name. I wouldn't use it on a girl.

It's a boys name in my opinion. If I heard someone call a child Ezra I would assume it was a boy.

Lovely name but it is a boy's name IMO. I actually think it's really masculine

Oh for God's sake!

It's a BOY's name.

Would you call her Adam, or Joseph, or Thomas?

Well then.

I am going to go against the grain here and say i think its a lovely name. I have never heard of it before and i wouldn't say it was a boys name.

Even if most people say it is, i know a female tony, terry and a male shannon. At the end of the day, when they introduced themselves the most i thought was 'oh, thats unusual' then went about my day and never thought about it again.

It's clearly a boys name. You may as well call a baby girl Clive or Bernard.

Don't be ridiculous. It's a boys name. Ezra is an important biblical figure one of the great prophets (not that I'm religious). You might not be religious but what if she grows up and, let's say, falls in love with someone from a culturally religious background - be it Christian, Muslim, or Jew. It would be downright bizarre to any of them, and maybe even enough for them to be Hmm. Why saddle her with such an avoidable disadvantage?

I've got an Ezra...he suits his name beautifully.

Only use this name for your baby if it pops out with a willy.

I've only met one other Ezra, boy obviously. I love the name, but a lot of people think I made it up and have real problems with it!
