Its me again. I think that we are getting there thing of a name for this baby and two current favourites are Montgomery (Monty) and Rupert.
Thoughts and suggestions please!

I like Rupert best smile

You can't go wrong with either, they are both lovely.

I think you have to look at your baby first before you make a firm decision.

I prefer Rupert too

I agree that you have to see the baby first. We have just been struggling with Boys names and it feels nice to have a couple of names that people wing laugh at!!

Also, DS is very keen on selling it Rupert if a boy ( he loves Rupert the bear). He wants it to be called tummy lump if its a girl though...

I love both but Monty is my favourite. It was top of our boys name list before we found out bump is pink!

Rupert is lovely, best boy name ever.

Not keen on Monty - maybe because I knew a horse called Monty, so it's a horse's name to me.

What is the matter with you people Rupert!? Will you send him to school with a kick me poster on his back too.

LynetteScavo Fri 23-Aug-13 11:22:16

sonlypuppyfat, she will probably send him to a school where children are taught to respect other people.......

ZolaBuddleia Fri 23-Aug-13 11:28:17

I prefer Montgomery, Rupert is a bit chinless to me.

I prefer Rupert.

NoComet Fri 23-Aug-13 12:25:12

Monty is great
Rupert = bear or rather spineless, wet public school boy

ElBombero Fri 23-Aug-13 12:25:27

Love rupert!

runningincircles Fri 23-Aug-13 12:26:36

Monty is ace! Rupert is good too though. Monty is a good mix of old fashioned, modern and unusual.

Bowlersarm Fri 23-Aug-13 12:28:46

Without a doubt. Gorgeous name,

MardyBra Fri 23-Aug-13 12:37:53

Are you posh?

mootime Fri 23-Aug-13 12:43:31

Could always put both in.

Rupert Ivan Montgomery xxx

Montgomery Rupert Ivan xxx

DH has been known by friends as his middle name, which could happen if Monty was in the middle I think.

mootime Fri 23-Aug-13 12:44:01

Depends what you mean by posh Mardy!

Bowlersarm Fri 23-Aug-13 12:54:41

I don't think you have to be 'posh' to use Rupert.

Rupert Grint doesn't seem posh.

AndWhenYouGetThere Fri 23-Aug-13 12:58:26

Rupert is perfect.

I like Monty, but in my head it's a dogs name (I was going to call a male puppy Monty see).
